We are seeking a highly motivated Screening Program Coordinator to join our team at Livewell Southwest CIC. The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant area and significant specialist training. This role is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to make a positive impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with primary care providers, secondary care, community staff, families, advocates, and the third sector to enhance the health outcomes of individuals with learning disabilities. This will involve facilitating engagement with screening programs, providing specialist educational support, and working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to develop training and resources that promote inclusion in mainstream health services.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include protected CPD time, training pathways, leadership programs, and funding for qualifications like the Care Certificate and Nurse Training Scholarships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engagement with screening programs for individuals with learning disabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant area supplemented by significant specialist training.
  • Effective communication skills with clients and carers, colleagues, other statutory, private, and voluntary agencies.
  • A good understanding of current research identifying health inequalities for people with learning disabilities.
