Front Desk Supervisor
At Marriott International, we're committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our guests feel welcome and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist staff with expediting problem payments and follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
- Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, including shared rooms, separate rooms, tax, and incidentals.
- Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations.
- Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
