About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team in the Heanor area. As a Care Support Worker, you will be working in various care homes, providing high-quality care to residents with age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Job Description
  • You will ensure that all care plans are followed to provide personalized support to residents, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
  • Undertake personal care duties, observation checks, and maintain hygiene standards to ensure residents' safety and well-being.
  • Participate in activities to engage and entertain residents, promoting their physical and emotional health.
  • Ensure safe use of moving and handling equipment, including hoists, slide sheets, and rotundas, to assist residents with mobility.
  • Oversee the health and safety of residents under your care, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified and experienced Care Support Worker with at least 3 months of paid UK experience in a care home setting.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 6 months or registered on the update service.
  • Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Working Hours and Pay

We offer flexible working hours, including:

  • 06:45 to 14:30
  • 14:15 to 22:00
  • 06:45 to 22:00
  • 22:00 to 07:00

The pay rate for this role is £11.60 per hour for day shifts and £12.00 per hour for night shifts.
