Physics Researcher - Cambridge

We are seeking a highly skilled Physics Researcher to join our Applied Science team in Cambridge.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of scientists and technologists, creating innovative solutions for clients in various industries. As a Physics Researcher, you will be responsible for designing and executing laboratory experiments, assessing technology feasibility, and developing novel systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute laboratory experiments to develop new technologies.
  • Assess technology feasibility through theoretical assessment, mathematical modeling, and laboratory experimentation.
  • Develop novel systems and present results to clients.
  • Support sales activities with technical content and help define and scope new projects.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a degree in Physics or a degree with a strong Physics content (2.1 or above) and expertise in areas such as optics, electronics, sensors, electromagnetics, ultrasonics, etc. You should also have proven analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a track record of planning and undertaking laboratory work safely.

The estimated salary for this position is £50,000-£60,000 per annum, plus benefits and a competitive salary package.
