The Department of Geography at the University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled Physical Geography Lecturer to join our team. As a Teaching Associate in Physical Geography, you will provide cover for a colleague undertaking a research fellowship and contribute to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

We are looking for a physical geographer with expertise in biogeography, ecology, and/or paleoecology, as well as strong quantitative skills. You will be responsible for designing and delivering lectures, practicals, and fieldtrips for advanced undergraduate papers and our Masters in Holocene Climates.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in physical geography or a cognate subject and possess evidence of relevant teaching experience. They will also demonstrate close familiarity with the relevant fields of academic research.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a talented team of academics and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in your field. With a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, you will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
