About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Kitchen to lead our culinary team in a busy hotel with a thriving events and wedding business.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for overseeing menu development, stock management, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee menu development and implementation;
- Lead the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Manage accurate stock control and ordering systems;
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard;
- Implement effective waste management procedures;
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head of Kitchen in a similar environment;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment;
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices;
- Up-to-date knowledge of menu planning and costing techniques;
Salary Range: £30-32,000 per annum
