About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Catering Assistant to join our team at Newbold Primary School in Chesterfield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the kitchen supervisor in all areas of the service, including food preparation, cooking, portion control, and allergen compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the kitchen supervisor in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  2. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  3. Prepare the dining room for service and ensure a clean and safe environment.
  4. Work effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  5. Develop skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.

A competitive salary of £18,005 - £19,210 per annum, depending on experience.
