Catering Team Lead

Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Catering & Beverage Team Leader to manage the daily operations of our hospital kitchens. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and training, including NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject and Level 2 Food Safety Certificate. They must be willing to attain ILM qualification.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing and coordinating the daily food production activities.
- Maintaining high food quality standards and managing food production staff.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and participating in the HACCP procedure.
- Having accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen service and monitoring stock control.
- Responsible for the correct recording and disposal of all food waste.
