About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in Central England. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for covering the central region, selling our range of electronic components, plastic injection parts, and metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales responsibility for the territory to new and existing customers to achieve growth.
  • Visit qualified customers and prospects, typically 4 days per week, with 1 day at home for planning and admin.
  • Provide visit reports to the office on a daily basis via CRM system.
  • Carry out sales initiatives, including cold calls, to promote products to potential customers.
  • Develop relationships at decision level with major customers and prospects.
  • Manage customers and prospects closely to ensure competitiveness of our quotations.
  • Attend exhibitions as required.
  • Effective and timely response to sales leads provided.
  • Stay aware of market, competitor activity, and technology changes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within electronic components, plastic injection moulding, or metal parts.
  • Previous sales management experience.
  • Ideal technical background and qualification.

Benefits:

  • Salary dependent on experience, likely £40k-£50k.
  • OTE of £10k-£20k commission, up to £70k+ overall.
