About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic clinical or counselling psychologist to provide high-quality psychological care to individuals with diabetes. The postholder will use their expertise to ameliorate psychological distress and enhance physical and psychological wellbeing in service users.

Key Responsibilities
The postholder will:
• Provide specialist psychological assessments and treatments to individuals with diabetes, including those with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
• Work alongside medical and allied health professionals across a range of contexts, including outpatient consultations, home visits, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide training and support for the design and implementation of interventions to change health-related behaviour at all levels of care.
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and monitoring of operational policies and services within the Camden Integrated Diabetes Service.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology from a BPS-accredited training course.
• Registration with the HCPC as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
• Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
£11,707 - £12,983 per annum, dependent on experience.
