Overview: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Diabetes Psychiatry and Psychology Service. The successful candidate will provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients with type 1 / complex type 2 diabetes.

The role involves working alongside experts within the field of diabetes who are experienced and knowledgeable about the psychological impact of living with the condition. There are opportunities for both individual and group-based interventions, which are used in the team to help address issues around adjustment to the condition, effective diabetes management, and psychological and emotional wellbeing.

The post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check, and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 applies.
