About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Hampshire. As a key member of the hotel's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality cuisine for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of food and beverage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service standards
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Develop and implement menus and promotions to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the hotel's events team to deliver exceptional events and weddings
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel's food and beverage strategy

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Customer-focused approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service
