Support Staff Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team, providing support to students with Special Educational Needs and challenging behaviors.

Estimated Salary

The annual salary for this role is approximately £29,000 - £34,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Working one-to-one with students to develop their academic and social skills
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistency and continuity
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as education or special educational needs
  • Significant experience working with students with SEN and challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
