Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Care Professional to join our team at Hampshire County Council. The ideal candidate will have a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England (SWE).

You will conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, manage complex caseloads, and provide supervision for colleagues. You will also triage safeguarding referrals and build positive relationships with service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess individual needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to Case Workers and Senior Case Workers.
  • Triage safeguarding referrals and make informed decisions.


Requirements
  • Social work qualification and registration with SWE.
  • Sound understanding of strengths-based approaches.
  • Knowledge of social work issues, legal frameworks, and statutory duties.
  • Commitment to demonstrating values and behaviours.


Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,830 per annum, depending on experience. As a Mental Health Care Professional, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.

The estimated salary range is based on the job requirements, location, and industry standards in the UK.
