About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Deputy Store Manager at Lidl - Southampton. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing your team's skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Lead and inspire your team to achieve their full potential, providing coaching, guidance, and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, cash processes, and other key performance indicators to optimize store performance and minimize losses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, drive sales growth, and increase customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other store leaders to share best practices, address challenges, and drive business results.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail environment, with a track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines.
