Internal Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled Internal Account Manager to join our team at Exertis. This role will be based at our office in Hungerford and will involve working closely with customers and vendors to drive business growth and performance.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within our customer base.
  • Maintain regular contact to introduce new products, services, and technologies to achieve sales growth.
  • Encourage new customers to open an account with Exertis and qualify new accounts.
  • Identify accounts with significant opportunity and engage additional support to drive growth.
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting to ensure accurate sales projections.
  • Profile potential leads to establish opportunities for new business.
  • Use market intelligence and historical data to plan and target accounts effectively.
  • Collaborate with vendors and product specialists to drive synergy across Commercial, Customer Service, and Credit Control.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as responding to customer inquiries and managing pricing.
  • Develop industry-leading skills by staying up-to-date with new trends and products in the market.
  • Participate in coaching sessions with the Team Leader/Sales Manager to increase productivity and improve performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Account Management.
  • Experience in the IT or Memory Channel is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Ability to commute to Hungerford.
