Rotherham Council's Children and Young People's Service is investing in new residential provision, aiming to ensure more looked-after children are placed close to their local communities, family, and schools.

We are looking for Casual Children's Residential Practitioners who share our vision of delivering outstanding services that prioritize the child's needs.

As a member of our team, you will work in a variety of settings, supporting children and young people with sensory, ASD, mental health needs, and trauma backgrounds.

The job requires developing your skills and practices as part of a team, supporting complex children and young people, and working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

In return, we offer an excellent pay rate of £14.36 per hour, a comprehensive training program, and opportunities for professional development and progression.

You will be expected to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent, have experience working in services supporting children with complex needs, and be willing to undergo a DBS check.
