Job Title: Safeguarding Practitioner

Location: Rotherham office with travel across services

Salary: £48,401.60 - £53,996.80

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to oversee and strengthen our safeguarding practices across our services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in protecting vulnerable children, families and adults within our care.

The Role:
  • Developing a safeguarding culture that influences the strategic and operational focus.
  • Implementing and reviewing safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice standards.
  • Oversight of incident reporting and safeguarding concerns working collaboratively with Operational Services.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England.
  • Resilient and able to stay calm under pressure.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and publications on good practice and safeguarding.
  • Experience working with children, young people and their families with complex needs.
  • Proven experience in a safeguarding role investigating issues and responding to incidents.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
