As a Residential Practitioner with the NHS, you will be working closely with children and young people in emergency situations, promoting their welfare and providing a supportive environment.

We are seeking individuals who can build effective relationships, act as positive role models, and provide consistency of support to our service users.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote and safeguard the well-being of looked-after children across the borough
  • Develop key working relationships with individual children and young people, focusing on their unique needs and circumstances
  • Apply evidence-based therapeutic approaches and practice models to ensure the best possible outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with children and families in emergency situations or similar high-pressure environments
  • Knowledge of child development principles and the impact of early childhood trauma on young people
  • Ability to handle challenging situations diplomatically, sensitively, and professionally

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £25,718 - £32,691 per annum (dependent on experience)
