Children's Home Registered Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our residential care services as a Children's Home Registered Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and quality in our children's homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and management to our children's homes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with our teams to promote education, health, and wellbeing among our children and young people.
  • Develop and implement effective safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection and safety of our residents.
  • Foster a culture of continuous growth and development among our staff, providing opportunities for professional development and training.
  • Build strong partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders to deliver a joined-up service centered on the child's needs.
Requirements:
  • A Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience in a social care setting.
  • Substantial experience of managing and supervising staff in a residential care environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, safeguarding frameworks, and best practice in child placement services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, and external partners.
Salary:

£55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
