Main Duties and Responsibilities

As a Child Protection and Support Practitioner, you will be required to develop your skills and practices to provide an exceptional residential service, supporting and caring for complex children and young people at times in solo provision. The role involves working evening, weekend, and sleep-in shifts as part of the residential team.

You will promote the safeguarding and protection of the welfare of looked-after children across the borough, engage in key work with individual children and young people, and apply agreed evidence-based therapeutic and behavioral management approaches and practice models.
