The Role

We are seeking a creative and passionate Chef to join our team at The Ballachulish Hotel. As a key member of our culinary brigade, you will be responsible for making decisions on food concepts, presentation, and menu planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative food concepts that showcase the best of Scotland's larder
  • Lead a small team of chefs to deliver high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations
  • Work closely with the hotel's management team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
  • Collaborate with local suppliers to source the freshest and highest-quality ingredients
  • Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a 4 or 5-star hotel
