Job Opportunity: Chef de Partie

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at a prestigious hotel group in the Scottish Highlands. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior chefs and kitchen staff
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and kitchen hygiene protocols
  • Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu ideas
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
