Empowering Neurodiverse Families

Barnardo's seeks a dedicated and compassionate Neurodiversity Family Hub Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of the West Yorkshire Neurodiversity Family Hub in Kirklees. As part of the increased offer of the West Yorkshire Keyworker Service, this role will provide early support across West Yorkshire, focusing on neurodiverse children, young people, young adults up to the age of 25, and their families in their local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the offer at Place and working with four other Neurodiversity Coordinators across West Yorkshire.
  • Developing and leading a place-based, multisector partners delivery group to look at developments/learning.
  • Providing peer support to parents and carers, holding knowledge of local services, and developing an offer for parents and carers to access local support available to them.
