Barnardo's has been working in partnership with Manchester City Council to develop trauma-responsive community hubs across the city. Our goal is to create ACE-aware, trauma-informed, trauma-responsive, and resilient communities by supporting local partners to develop these hubs in every neighborhood.
">The trauma-responsive community hub program aims to promote social connectedness, provide safe spaces, and offer positive activities that support well-being. We are seeking a part-time Trauma Responsive Community Development Worker to join our team and contribute to the development of this vital work.
">This is an exciting opportunity to work flexibly (29.6 hours per week) and contribute to the growth and development of our community hub program. The funding for this role is currently secured until January 2026, with the aim of securing further funding to sustain the progress made in this important work.
">Please note that this contract is due to expire on January 31, 2026, and therefore, may be subject to change or redundancy.

">Salary and Benefits">Our salary range for this role is £25,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
