Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at The Oaklea Trust. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and participate in their community.

About The Oaklea Trust

The Oaklea Trust's Supported Living Projects provide care and support to people with learning disabilities. Our mission is to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.

The Role
  • Support individuals with a wide range of needs and aspirations
  • Work with our organisational values to encourage independence
  • Support with personal care needs, daily activities and appointments within the local community
  • Work closely with a small team to provide 24/7 support
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users and their families
  • Assess and meet the individual needs of service users
  • Support service users to access community resources and activities
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
