Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Cambian Shap Road, a registered 4-bedroom house providing exceptional care and support for young adults with learning disabilities and/or challenges within the autistic spectrum.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support to young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist residential services, including Autism & Learning Disabilities.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the needs of each individual are met.
- Support young adults in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and facilitate social interaction, leisure activities, and community engagement.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Experience working with young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shift work and weekends.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
- Willingness to participate in training and professional development.
