Job Role

Master Data Manager

As a Master Data Manager at ghd, you will be responsible for establishing and continually improving the Master Data function's requirements. You will develop accurate and reliable processes and requirements that encompass all master data and interrelated activities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a set of processes and requirements that ensure the accuracy and reliability of master data.
  • Create toolkits to aid in the delivery of processes and ensure visibility throughout the organization.
  • Train and empower the team to ensure they are competent and can provide expert delivery.
  • Manage the coordination and ownership of master data activities across separate departments.
  • Update the critical business master data tracker weekly to ensure all stakeholders have access to accurate and reliable tracking.
  • Develop KPIs and SLAs that can be established and enforced within the master data team.
  • Report within Power BI, track within Excel, and utilize the Form, Planner, Automate, and Teams functions for process delivery.
  • Lead the business in respect to master data on projects relating to data migration or systems that impact master data delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for critical master data queries or issues to ensure they are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in the full MS Office Suite.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
  • Organized and versatile.
  • Knowledge of Arena PLM, GS1, SAP, MAD, and MDG.
  • Solid understanding and experience managing a QMS.
  • Experience of tracking and analyzing data.

Desirable Skills

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Lead Internal Auditing experience.
  • Awareness of ISO 9001, RoHS, or REACH.
