About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Support Practitioner to join our team at Cornwall College Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and have experience working in pre-16 post-16 education.

The successful applicant will work closely with our teaching staff to provide targeted interventions and support to individual learners or small groups. This may involve working one-to-one with learners, providing emotional support, and helping them develop independent life skills. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of curriculum areas and support learners with different types of learning difficulties and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to learners with SEND
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Deliver targeted interventions to improve learner outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress

We offer a competitive salary of £22,891.90 per hour (pro-rata) and a range of benefits, including generous annual leave schemes and access to occupational pension schemes.
