Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced CDM Advisor / Principal Designer to join our team in the North East & Yorkshire region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, ideally with experience in the construction/civil sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and production of Pre-Construction Information and CPP's, conducting thorough risk assessments, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with site staff and communicating effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining effective systems for the company, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Participating in design and project meetings to contribute to the development of construction projects.
  • Working closely with the team to achieve project goals, while also being able to work independently when needed.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments of site project information and construction drawings, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Leading the preparation and production of Pre-Construction Information and CPP's, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders through monthly reports.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a HSE role.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and other associated H&S legislation.
  • A NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health & Safety is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working in the construction and/or civil sector is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A full UK driver's license.
