About the Role

Our client is a leading Main Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Planner Specialist to play a vital role in the delivery of construction projects in North East, England. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning software.
  2. Analyse project documents to create accurate and realistic schedules.
  3. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure on-time delivery.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management techniques, and scheduling principles. Proficiency in using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) is essential. A proven track record as a Planner within the construction industry, preferably with experience working for a main contractor, is also required.

Estimated salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum.
