Technical Support Specialist

Gen Tech Recruitment is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join their IT Service Desk Team. This F/T Permanent role based in Saintfield requires excellent customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is £23,500 per annum, with additional benefits including a £500 attendance bonus and £500 Christmas bonus. The company also offers fully funded Further Education Incentive Scheme and 28 days sick pay in a rolling 12-month period.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational first line IT technical support to customers, logging, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents at the first point of contact when possible. Initiating and/or implementing corrective action as needed to maintain an excellent standard of service and high level of customer satisfaction is essential.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
Essential Criteria:- A high level of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications at an intermediate level
- Educated to GCSE level/equivalent @ Grade C or above
- Ability to prioritise workload to maintain a timely flow of customer requirements
