About the Role:
CER Education Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching and Learning Specialist to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with students with special educational needs, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning support.

**Key Responsibilities:)
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Deliver one-on-one or small group teaching and learning sessions to students during lessons and activities.
  • Support students with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Assist in the implementation of behavioural interventions and strategies to support positive behaviour management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to support student development and progress.
  • Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development as required.
