Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Special Education Needs Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive Early Years and Primary department. As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll provide essential support to students with complex needs, including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

About the Role:

Working in a small class of up to 8 students, you'll engage students in sensory activities, support play-based learning, and foster meaningful interactions to develop their communication, social, and cognitive skills. With a child-centred approach and a commitment to fostering joy in learning, our school provides a welcoming environment for students to thrive.

Key Details:
  • Location: Morden
  • Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:45 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
  • Pay: £90 - £100 per day (PAYE)
  • Contract: Direct pay (PAYE), no umbrella companies
Requirements:
  • A genuine interest in working with SEN is strongly encouraged.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care, are welcomed.
  • Confidence and willingness to assist with personal care and support in hydrotherapy (swimming) are essential.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude are essential to thrive in this role.
