About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Technologist to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of the radiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to radiotherapy managers and users of the technology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide direct technical support and advice to radiotherapy managers, key trainers, and users of the technology.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Participate in the management of medical devices, including installation, planned maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, repair, modification, and upgrade of radiotherapy equipment.
  3. Training and Development: Supervise, mentor, teach, and train members of staff within and outside the group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have professional registration as a clinical technologist, healthcare scientist, or healthcare science practitioner. You should also have experience in medical equipment management and be able to communicate complex technical information to a range of staff groups.
