About the Role

We are recruiting a Support Worker to join our team, providing support to individuals with learning disabilities in their daily lives. The role will involve promoting independence, encouraging participation in activities, and facilitating engagement in the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with personal care needs, including bathing and dressing
  • Assisting with daily activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests
  • Accompanying individuals on outings and appointments within the community

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude, be empathetic and understanding, and have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to work effectively as part of a small team and be flexible with regards to working hours, which may include weekends and sleep-in shifts.

What We Offer

As a member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary of £23,088 per annum (pro rata), plus excellent benefits, including a £500 onboarding payment, 28 days' holiday (increasing with long service), DBS funding, private health care, and access to a range of rewards and benefits.
