Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Westmorland and Furness Council. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals with diverse needs, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver exceptional care and support services to clients in accordance with their personalized care plans.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of support workers to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  3. Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and support plans.
  4. Encourage clients to engage in social and recreational activities, promoting independence and community involvement.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including comprehensive training and professional development opportunities, pension scheme, and other perks.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a support worker role.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as CQF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
