Regional Sales Director

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales growth in the North West, Midlands, and Wales regions, focusing on the Resin Flooring Market. Key responsibilities include developing existing accounts, creating new business, and providing advice on flooring systems and product lines.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver business plans to maximize sales, volumes, and profit
  • Presentation and relationship-building with Flooring Contractors and Specifiers
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Establish and build solid relationships internally and externally
  • Provide technical support and handle customer complaints
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into cost-effective specifications
  • Organize trials, training, and demos
  • Negotiate term contracts and price increases
  • Ensure price increases are adhered to and margin is protected
  • Liaise with customer service to develop customer relationships
  • Maintain accurate records and files
  • Encourage team culture and development
  • Produce servicing plans and analyze market trends
  • Coordinate demand forecasts and identify major fluctuations
  • Conduct SWOT analysis and budgetary adjustments
  • Provide monthly progress reports
  • Work with the project development team to secure projects
  • Support ASM's in executing their functions
  • Implement territory sales execution plan


Requirements:

  • Degree desirable
  • A level or equivalent, degree desirable
  • Experience in the flooring industry, specifically resins technology
  • Resin Flooring knowledge essential
  • Sales Management skills
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SFDC)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driving license
