Nacro is seeking an experienced Further Education professional to lead our education teams in the Northwest region.

This pivotal role will ensure a high-quality learning experience, leading to excellent achievement, progression, and destination outcomes for all learners.

The successful candidate will support the development, planning, delivery, and monitoring of Nacro's curriculum to meet the needs and aspirations of learners and the employment and skills priorities of the regions we serve.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering effective operational leadership and management to Education Centre delivery teams.
  • Providing day-to-day oversight and operational management of Education Centres and Learning Spaces.
  • Working collaboratively with Finance Business Partners to deliver efficient and effective financial planning, budget, and resource management.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Authorities, Local Enterprise Partnerships, employers, feeder schools, and colleges.
  • Leading the approach for ensuring that curriculum design is inclusive, engaging, and fit for purpose.

We are seeking a candidate with innovative thinking, able to develop and execute a long-term vision for the curriculum, aligning it with the needs of the directorate, as well as good written, verbal, and ICT skills.

A PGCE qualification would be desirable.
