Job Title: Experienced 1:1 Support for Pupil with Autism
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £85-£110 per day, equivalent to £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with autism in a primary school setting.
The successful candidate will have a gentle approach, experience with Makaton, and be able to commit to a full-time long-term role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with autism in a primary school setting.
- Use Makaton communication methods to engage with the pupil.
- Develop and implement strategies to support the pupil's learning and behavior.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working with children with autism and other special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Estimated Salary: £41,000 per year (based on a 37-week contract)
