Job Title: Chef De Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at Richmond Village, a retirement village provider for Bupa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations, catering to residents across the village, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment for our residents to dine in.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cater to residents across the village, including the care home
  • Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations
  • Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu
  • Be involved in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate, as required
  • Ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high risk) goods
  • Help maintain a clean and hygienic working area
Requirements:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced chef who has a strong understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent. You will have a creative and organized approach to cooking, with a focus on delivering an excellent dining experience at each meal. You will also be required to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process, which will be covered by Bupa.
