We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at Richmond Villages, a leading provider of retirement village care. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for dining.
Key Responsibilities:- Cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences, preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Prepare and serve meals on the hotplate, ensuring a welcoming and safe dining experience for our residents.
- Ensure all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic working area, adhering to high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced chef who is passionate about food and has a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. You will have experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements. An NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent is desirable. You will be open to new ideas, have an innovative yet organized approach to cooking, and remain calm during a busy service.
