We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at Richmond Villages, a leading provider of retirement village care. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring a welcoming and safe dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences, preparing and cooking meals in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Prepare and serve meals on the hotplate, ensuring a high standard of presentation and quality.
- Ensure a clean and hygienic working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, including access to apprenticeships and online learning platforms.
- Passionate about food and cooking, with experience working in a professional kitchen.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy services, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
