Job Title: Chef De Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at Richmond Village, a retirement village provider for Bupa. As a Chef De Partie, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cater to residents across the village, preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs, responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
  • Prepare and serve meals on the hotplate, as required.
  • Ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high risk) goods.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
Requirements:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced chef who has a strong understanding of health and safety procedures. Ideally, you will have an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent. You will be open to new ideas, have an innovative yet organized approach to cooking, and remain calm during a busy service.

You will enjoy working with others, working together to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal. As part of the recruitment process, you will need to complete a DBS check, which Bupa will cover the cost of (£40).
