About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef De Partie to join our team at Richmond Villages. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of taste, presentation, and nutrition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cater to residents across the village, preparing and cooking meals in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs, responding to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
- Be involved in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate, as required.
- Ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable (high-risk) goods.
- Ensure a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment for our residents to dine in.
- Help maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements.
- An understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent.
- An innovative yet organized approach to cooking, always adhering to high standards and remaining calm during a busy service.
- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
