CAMHS Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Trauma Therapist to join our dynamic Community CAMHS South Team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality trauma assessments and interventions to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Work as a member of the Community CAMHS South Team, providing specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.
- Act as a lead professional/care-coordinator for service users, co-facilitate group work, and liaise with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to all aspects of team functioning as required, including working with a variety of agencies to ensure a quality service is provided.
- Appropriate professional registered qualification (e.g., RMN, Social Worker, CBT Therapist) and membership of a registered statutory body (e.g., NMC, BABCP).
- Evidence of continuing professional development, including statutory child safeguarding training and supervision/qualification of supervision training.
- Experience of working with children and young people presenting with complex trauma and PTSD, as well as emotional and mental health difficulties and disorders.
- Ability to manage own caseload and time, work under pressure, and provide clinical supervision and mentoring.
