Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Community CAMHS South Team, providing specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.
  • Act as a lead professional/care-coordinator for service users, co-facilitating group work, and liaising with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary team within the Community CAMHS.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, families, and carers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

  • Post-qualification training in trauma (trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Experience of working with children, young people, and their families/carers presenting with complex trauma and PTSD.
  • Ability to manage own caseload and time, working under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with young people and their families/carers.
What We Offer

As a Trauma Specialist with Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and evolving service, contributing to the development of trauma-informed care pathways and protocols. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to provide high-quality services to children, young people, and their families/carers.
