About the Role

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Trauma Therapist to join our Community CAMHS South Team. As a CAMHS Trauma Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of the Community CAMHS South Team, contributing to the multidisciplinary team and managing an agreed caseload.
  • Provide specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.
  • Act as a lead professional/care-coordinator for service users, co-facilitate group work, and liaise with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary team within the Community CAMHS.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010).
  • Appropriate professional registered qualification (RMN, Social worker, CBT Therapist, or equivalent qualification and membership of a registered statutory body NMC, BABCP).
  • Post-qualification training in trauma (trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, etc.) is desirable.
