Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Trauma Therapist/CAMHS Trauma Specialist to join our dynamic and evolving Community CAMHS South Team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality trauma assessments and interventions to children, young people, and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Community CAMHS South Team to provide specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions to young people and their families.
  • Act as a lead professional/care-coordinator for service users and co-facilitate group work.
  • Liaise with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary team within the Community CAMHS.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals).
  • An appropriate professional registered qualification (e.g., RMN, Social worker, CBT Therapist) and membership of a registered statutory body (e.g., NMC, BABCP).
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and undertaken statutory child safeguarding training.
