About the Role

The Community CAMHS South Team is seeking an experienced Trauma Therapist to join our dynamic and evolving service. As a Trauma Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of the Community CAMHS South Team providing specialist trauma assessment, formulation, and interventions with young people and families.
  • Act as a lead professional/care-coordinator for service users, co-facilitate group work, and liaise with systems connected to the young person and the multidisciplinary team within the Community CAMHS.

Person Specification

  • A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use (reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals).
  • Appropriate professional registered qualification (RMN, Social Worker, CBT Therapist, or equivalent) and membership of a registered statutory body (NMC, BABCP).
  • Post-qualification training in trauma (trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, etc.) is desirable.
